A Lively Vegan Food Adventure at Vista’s Monthly Vegan Food Popup
After our brief ride from Ocean Hills Country Club to the soft opening of Eppig Brewing, we hopped back on Daisy, our tandem bike, for a quick 1-mile ride to the monthly Vegan Food Popup at The Boochyard at Local Roots in Vista. This event is a hidden gem for vegans and food lovers alike, offering a lively atmosphere with a variety of vegan food vendors, live music, and a welcoming community vibe.
The Vista Vegan Food Popup Experience
The Vegan Food Popup is held once a month at The Boochyard, part of the Local Roots Kombucha family. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the bustling energy of the event. Tents lined the street, each offering unique vegan delights that would make any food lover’s heart skip a beat. From savory dishes to sweet treats, there was something for everyone.
We decided to try the noodles and veggie rolls from the Asian Holic vendor, and they did not disappoint! The flavors were fresh, vibrant, and satisfying. Although we didn’t get a chance to try the kombucha from Local Roots this time, we are definitely planning on it during our next visit. And how could we forget the vegan doughnuts? Their colorful and tempting display made it impossible to pass up.
The Boochyard itself was the perfect venue, offering plenty of seating and a relaxed environment to enjoy the evening. With live music adding to the ambiance, it was a fantastic way to wind down after a fun day of exploring.
